Have no doubt MDR-V6 is one fine piece of acoustic equipment. However, they're tight around the melon and after 4 months of use I had to tighten the screws on the fold-out hinges. But, they sound a-ma-zing, VERY nice. The sound is so clear that as I listen to them at night, there are moments when I instinctively check if they're actually plugged in and I'm not blasting my stereo aloud waking my neighbors.
