Installed this item in a Dell Precision 4500 Laptop. The machine already has a reasonably fast hard drive. Note that this mSATA drive can not be used in a traditional SATA position: it needs a mini PCIe slot, configured to accept mSATA.

Installed the OS and Applications on this one and kept my files on the original drive. The speed difference is impressive. Time from pressing the start button to having Outlook ready to run has been reduced by about 70%.
